Ford Focus Active

Overview

In the great American pursuit of crossovers, the venerable Focus grows in height, sprouts rugged exterior features, and dons a new name: Focus Active. Ford has said that when it goes on sale—we expect before the end of 2019—it will replace all existing Focus models, so if you're a fan of the sedan or hatchback, act now. Powertrain details aren't clear, but the Focus Active could get Ford's turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder; no word yet on whether it will offer all-wheel drive.
