Overview
The Hyundai Santa Fe and the three-row Santa Fe XL are stylish, family-friendly crossovers, and both are packed with features. Formerly known as the Santa Fe Sport, the two-row Santa Fe is all new for 2019. It is powered by a choice of two four-cylinder engines, one of which is a turbo; the XL comes with a smooth V-6. We’ve found both to be relaxed and stable out on the road, but neither offers athletic driving dynamics. Automated emergency braking is standard on the Santa Fe and optional on the XL.
