Overview

While 2017 marked the end for the fifth-generation Viper, we thought an all-new model would debut in 2020, but the iconic nameplate is dead until further notice. The Viper's run ended with a crescendo of horsepower in the form of the ACR model, which offered 645 hp and ran to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. Several other Special Edition models marked the end of the production for the V-10-powered sports car, including a bright green Snakeskin Edition GTC model. While stranger things have happened, we expect the Viper nameplate to remain retired well into the future.
